At MSI, we love healthcare recruitment and food! We are always thinking about fun ideas to keep us fueled throughout the day. Here is a collection of fun food ideas to make your work breaks more tasty.

Quinoa Salad
  • Ingredients: Cooked quinoa, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red bell pepper, chickpeas, feta cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

  • Preparation: Mix cooked quinoa with chopped vegetables and chickpeas. Add crumbled feta cheese, drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.

Chicken and Veggie Wrap
  • Ingredients: Whole wheat wrap, grilled chicken breast slices, mixed greens, shredded carrots, avocado, hummus.

  • Preparation: Spread hummus on the wrap, layer with chicken slices, mixed greens, shredded carrots, and avocado slices. Roll up the wrap and cut in half.

Greek Yogurt and Berry Parfait
  • Ingredients: Greek yogurt, mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries), granola, honey.

  • Preparation: Layer Greek yogurt with mixed berries and granola. Drizzle with honey for added sweetness.

Caprese Salad
  • Ingredients: Fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  • Preparation: Slice mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. Arrange with basil leaves on a plate. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.

Chickpea and Avocado Sandwich
  • Ingredients: Whole grain bread, mashed avocado, canned chickpeas, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

  • Preparation: Mash chickpeas with avocado and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Spread the mixture on whole grain bread.

Mason Jar Salad
  • Ingredients: Layered ingredients such as mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, beans or chickpeas, shredded cheese, nuts, and a light dressing.

  • Preparation: Layer ingredients in a mason jar starting with the dressing at the bottom, followed by hearty vegetables, beans, and greens on top. Shake before eating.
